Arunachal Pradesh’s first wine brand launched

Arun Kiwi Wine, a brand produced by Pune-based Hill Crest Foods and Beverages Pvt Ltd in partnership with Arunachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Board (APHPM & PB), a division of the state government have been officially launched by Chief Minister Nabam Tuki in Itanager on May 7.

According to Assam Tribune, the brand named after Arunachal Pradesh, the largest Kiwi fruit producing state in the country.

Rhythm Winery, a sector of the Hill Crest Foods & Beverages Pvt Ltd working on project basis, is sourcing over 2.5 tonnes of kiwi fruits from Arunachal for brewing the wine.
