Guinness World Record holder Assam policeman Abhijit Baruah broke his own record of throwing 329 punches on a boxing pad in a minute.
Baruah raged his way to a whopping 387 punches in 60 seconds, 58 more than his previous record set in October 13, 2012. Thus, he achieved an amazing average of over six punches per second.
The 23-year-old martial arts expert from Jorhat, has bagged gold, silver and bronze medals in numerous national-level martial arts competitions.
On January 31, 2013 at the Assam Bhawan in the capital city of New Delhi, he had once again created history as he surpassed his previous best of 329 full landing punches. By achieving this feat he entered his name for a second time in the Asian Book of Records.
Last year, Baruah has already made it to the Guinness World Records by being the first man in the world to run 156.2 km barefoot in 24 hours.
