Assam Director & Arunachal Producer’s upcoming Bollywood Film wins International Award

Arunachal’s Maya Kholie produced Bollywood film “Aisa Yeh Jahaan (The World it is…)” has bagged multiple awards at various International film festivals around the world.

The first Indian carbon neutral film, written and directed by Biswajeet Bora from Assam, starring Euphoria’s frontman Palash Sen and Ira Dubey is scheduled for release in July 2015.

According to Arunachal Times, “The film set in Mumbai tells the story of ever growing human detachment with nature, traditional values and how an urban family gets trapped in the isolated walls of a metropolis. The film also attempt to bring the Northeastern flavour for the first time in Bollywood mainstream cinema and highlight the issues of racial discrimination faced by Northeastern people in the metro cities.”

The film OST featuring 6 tracks – composed and performed by Palash Sen is releasing next month. The dialogue is written by two times National Award-winning writer Ashok Mishra and edited by National Award winner Suresh Pai.
