And this time in the country, Probably it’s likely going to be Borkung Hrangkhawl from Tripura, one of the remotest Northeastern States of India border with Bangladesh. His latest music video “The Journey” has raked in more than 2,50,000 YouTube views in just over a week, uploaded to the video sharing site on January 31.
The 25-year-old upcoming rapper’s music video sang in English, Hrangkhawl and Hindi has been beeping with increasing hits every minute making it one of the fastest-spreading indie music video in Indian history.
Some online artists who actually ended up becoming global superstars overnight include teen pop star Justin Bieber, Lily Allen, The Artic Monkeys, Sean Kingston, Colbie Caillat, The Ting Tings, My Chemical Romance, Nikki Minaj, Tila Tequila and so more.
