Three Guinness World Records of Nagaland

Nagaland has three standing Guinness World Records.

  • Tallest Rhododendron tree in the world, discovered in 1993 at Mount Japfu near Kohima, measuring upto 108 feet.
  • Tallest paddy plant in the world, discovered on October 1, 1998. The paddy had a record height of eight and half feet, 175 tillers and 510 grains in each ear and the single stalk of the plant was as big as human finger and semi-woody nature.
