The winners of SingAlong with MLTR contest, Jano Nyekha and Zuchobeni Tungoe will storm the opening stage slot for the acclaimed Michael Learns to Rock’s maiden concert at NEZCC Ground, Dimapur on 15th December.
They have both shattered the online cover song competition by earning the most number of votes and social counts. The judges comprising of talent scout representatives from 7 Sisters Entertainment and MLTR management have tapped the two promising young artists from Nagaland, to share the stage and sing as a duet for the first time.
The 16-year-old, Zuchobeni Tungoe, rose to fame in 2011 winning the Kids for Fame award. She penned and recorded her debut single “Scar” at Clef Ensemble in Kohima, which was released earlier in May. Her single is still currently trending as one of the most downloaded songs on Indihut.com.
Jano Nyekha, another 16-year-old music prodigy from Dimapur, known for her naga folk fusion song ‘Aahoh‘, which received positive responses from music critics in the region, will be on board collaborating in this fresh line-up. She possesses an incredible songwriting flare and an arresting voice in a category all her own – she also plays Piano.
In addition to supporting the top danish band, Michael Learns to Rock, the duo is also in talks with a New Delhi based talent house and will be letting a much larger swath of music fans know about their upcoming project very shortly.
