Krishna Limbu wins India’s Red Bull Freestyle Football 2013

Red Bull Street Style India 2013’s winner is Krishna Limbu of Sikkim, who was one of the qualifiers from the Kolkata leg of regional auditions. He will now represent India at the Red Bull Street Style World Final to be held in Japan in the month of September.

India’s finest freestyle footballers from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai auditions gathered in Mumbai on Saturday, June 27 at the Orbit Mall in Malad for the Red Bull Street Style National finals 2013.

The contestants were judged by Kotaro Tokuda (2012 Red Bull Street Style World Champion), Indian international goalkeeper Subrata Pal and Bollywood choreographer Gaiti Nair. The 16 finalists were judged on their performance to show variety of tricks, display ball control, flicks, individual technique and style.


Four players from each of the cities mentioned above were chosen after a round of qualifiers. This group of players were then invited to the final in Mumbai.  Kotaro Tokuda from Japan also showcased his amazing set of skills in the fourth edition of the competition in India and he will be training the top six from India in the art of freestyle.
