Megadeth have been confirmed as the main headlining act for Shillong leg of Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2015. This year’s edition of the NH7 Weekender music festival will see a fifth city added to its venue line-up and debut in Shillong on October 23 and 24.
Apart from featuring top-notch incredible line-up, this five-year-old annual music festival described as India’s happiest music festival is also well-known for its signature production values, art installations, curated food stalls, and an inimitable vibe.
The festival back-bone team – Only Much Louder (OML)’s co-founder Vijay Nair told Radioandmusic.com, “We made the announcement at the end of Bacardi NH7 Weekender show in Pune last year, that the festival is travelling to Shillong in February. However, it got delayed due to issues with the venue.”

Megadeth will also headline the Kolkata’s Edition on 31st October. The heavy metal pioneering band was formed in 1983 by guitarist Dave Mustaine after his dismissal from Metallica. As of 2014, Megadeth has sold 50 million records worldwide.
