Pharrell William fans in Darjeeling releases tribute video ‘Happy’

The Grammy-winning star Pharrell William fans in Darjeeling has released a parody video of his hit song Happy on YouTube on May 24. The song, which imitates thousands of similar clips by other Pharrell Williams fans across the globe, was produced by Angel’s Production Studio, based in this dazzling hill station of northernmost West Bengal in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Earlier last week, Six young men and women in Iran were arrested by the country’s police, for appearing in a tribute video of the same song Happy. Williams’ song has inspired hundreds of tributes since it was released last year on the soundtrack to hit animation Despicable Me 2, nominated for the best original song at the Oscar earlier this year.
