Taba Chake: Fingerstyle Guitarist from Arunachal

Taba Chake is an upcoming Arunachali fingerstyle guitarist and singer-songwriter. Chake was born and brought up in Arunachal Pradesh. He began playing the fingerstyle guitar at the age of eighteen. In September 2014, he made his stage debut at the annual Ziro Festival of Music.

According to RollingStone, Chake secured a second place at the All India Fingerstyle Guitar competition conducted by the Infinite Souls in Bengaluru. The former metal/heavy rock guitarist who had earlier played with numerous bands is currently studying music at Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music near Chennai. He writes songs inspired by the sounds of the impeccable nature around him.
