Dear Friends and Well-wishers,
Finally we’re now able to share here our little notes and even post this thank you message on our own site too, as the portal goes actively online today.
It took us more than a year to get the site up. I’d registered and bought the domain name/server on 17th November last year. However, due to some unavoidable difficulties the whole process has got delayed. Anyway, long story tuned short. It was all possible now because of you, the generous donations (list of our founding donors here) and the support that we receive each day.
We don’t know how to thank you back but all i can ensure you that Sevendiary.com will always continue to promote the unexplored paradise of North-east India, which has so much to be discovered and understood. This portal has been created to bridge the gap between the reality of this wonderous region and the general perception of the world at large.
The region has so much to share with the world – like it’s rich culture, unique tourist destinations, abundance of talent, it’s people and their lifestyle. Everyday there is so much happening back home, and we have seen an explosive growth in inquires seeking information on Tourism, cultures, festivals and logistics of travel etc. So the idea to launch a comprehensive and authentic website to help promote the region, came up.
Thank you Rahul Saxena for always being there to help carry every raindrop and sunshine with us, and to his sister Rashmi Saxena. Special thanks to Rik Yeun, Angeline Vanlalpeki (who is also the youth ambassador of Sevendiary.com) and to all the bloggers & Sevendiary team.
Lastly my biggest credit goes to my young 19-year-old friend Aloran Satter, he has been voluntarily helping me with the site development for the past 6 months. Thank you Aloran, without you it would have been so impossible.
Thank you for visiting our website.
Regards and Best Wishes
